Terms of Use

The terms that apply to using Replacement Window Guide: informational content, quote requests, affiliate links, and limits of liability.

Informational content only

Content on this site is independent research for general information. It is not professional plumbing, electrical, code, or safety advice. Confirm equipment choices, sizing, permits, and installation details with a qualified licensed professional before acting.

Quote requests

Submitting a quote request authorizes us to share the details you enter with one licensed local contractor who may contact you by phone or email. Contractors are independent businesses. We do not perform work, guarantee any contractor, set their prices, or take responsibility for work performed.

Directory listings

Directory profiles are compiled from public sources and, where claimed, corrected by the business itself. We date our checks and mark unknowns, but we do not guarantee that every listing detail is current. Report an error and we will review and correct it free of charge.

Some product links are affiliate links, and are labeled. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes a research conclusion.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false quote requests, scrape the site for resale, misrepresent a business you do not own when claiming a listing, or attempt to interfere with the operation of the site.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the site, reliance on its content, or work performed by any contractor you engage.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is always at this page. Questions go to the contact address on our About page.
